CCTV installation in Konyaalti (Konyaaltı) is the IP camera and recording infrastructure we design, install and maintain for beach hotels, residences and apartment complexes, villas around Hurma and Sarısu, and warehouses near the port and the Antalya Free Zone. Konyaaltı is popular with foreign residents and second-home owners, and many of them want to see their property from abroad during the months they are away. Our other work in the district is on the Konyaaltı region page.
Why cameras on the coast need different hardware
The first thing that separates a Konyaaltı project from an inland one is salty, humid air from the sea. Near the beach, cheap plastic housings yellow within a few seasons, screws and brackets rust, and dome covers fog up. Outdoors we use at least IP66 protection, metal or UV-resistant housings and stainless mounting hardware, and we terminate cable entries inside sealed junction boxes so water cannot get in. On west-facing walls where the summer sun shines straight into the lens, we set the angle by testing it at sunset.
CCTV installation in Konyaalti for villas and residences
Residences and apartment complexes in Konyaaltı usually need 20 to 30 cameras. At that size one NVR, one or two PoE switches and a wall cabinet in the technical room do the job. Ventilation in the recorder room matters: an NVR that overheats in a closed storeroom in July is a common cause of disk failure. In residences the reception staff watch live, while the right to download recordings goes to management only. Owners can be given access to the shared-area cameras the management approves.
At villas in Hurma, Sarısu and Gürsu the focus is the garden boundary, the gate, the pool and parking. Many of these houses are holiday homes, or stand empty in winter, and their owners want to check them from their phone in another country. We set up encrypted remote access with up-to-date firmware, and recording continues locally on the NVR if the internet goes down. For villa owners planning lighting, gate or door camera integration, see our villas and smart homes page.
Beach hotels: 100 to 400 cameras
Our founder spent many years as IT manager at luxury resort hotels, so we know from the inside how hotel security operations run. At a beach hotel the camera count easily passes 100 and reaches 300 to 400 at large properties: lobby, reception, cash points, restaurants, pool and beach access, staff entrance, goods receiving, car park and floor corridors. At this size the design never relies on one recorder:
- Recording: cameras are split across several NVRs by block, or brought under central VMS software. If one recorder fails, the other blocks keep recording.
- Storage and retention: high resolution and continuous recording at cash points and reception, motion-based recording in corridors. Capacity is sized for this mix and protected against disk failure with RAID.
- Network: a PoE switch and cabinet in each block, fibre back to the main system room, and the camera network kept on its own VLAN, separate from guest Wi-Fi.
- Control room: a central room with a video wall for the security team, with separate permission levels for the security manager, front office and technical service.
The main goal is to finish before the season opens, so we recommend planning large hotel projects for the winter months. More on how we work with hotels is on our hotels page.
Warehouses near the Free Zone and the port
Warehouses around the Antalya Free Zone and the port combine a large open yard, high-rack indoor storage and constant vehicle traffic. We use cameras that see the moment of loading at the bays, follow forklifts along rack aisles, and read number plates at the vehicle gate. In high-rack warehouses a camera placed off the aisle axis loses its view behind the upper shelves, so we plan positions from the rack layout. Where the office and the warehouse are far apart, the link runs over fibre.
Brands, technology and privacy
We supply and install Hikvision, Dahua, HiLook and Hanwha Wisenet. For hotels or residences with an older analogue system, a hybrid recorder lets you move to IP step by step.
Under KVKK, Turkey's personal data protection law, footage is personal data. Hotels put up information signs where guests can see them, set a retention period and give viewing rights only to the staff who need them. Guest rooms and changing areas are always left out.
To arrange a survey for your villa, residence, hotel or warehouse in Konyaaltı, call or WhatsApp +90 552 637 07 07 or use our contact page. If you are abroad, we can start with a video call. Further along the coast we also cover Kemer, and the full service is on our CCTV installation in Antalya page.
