Villa security cameras in Kalkan and Kaş: we install IP camera and recording systems for holiday villas, rental homes and boutique hotels that you can watch from your phone wherever you are. Many of our clients in this area manage their villa from abroad for most of the year. So we usually start the design with one question: when you are not there, what do you want to see?

ÖZER Bilişim is based in Muratpaşa, Antalya. We handle work in Kaş and Kalkan through planned site visits: survey, installation and handover days are agreed in advance, and after that we follow the system with remote monitoring and support.

Three questions every villa owner asks

1. Who came to the gate?

The garden gate and parking entrance are the most watched points. We place a camera facing the direction of arrival, at an angle where faces and number plates can be made out. Guest changeovers, the cleaning team and the pool service can all be followed from this camera.

2. Are the pool and garden safe?

Most villas in Kalkan sit on hillsides, with terraces and pools. To avoid blind spots on sloping land we plan camera positions level by level. Around the pool we choose angles that respect guest privacy, and we agree with the owner which cameras stay on during rental periods.

3. What happens at night?

Some parts of the area have weak street lighting. We prefer models with strong night vision, infrared range suited to the space, or colour images in low light. Outdoor cameras are rated IP66 or IP67, chosen with sea air and summer heat in mind.

What if the internet connection is weak?

Fixed-line internet is limited in some parts of Kaş and Kalkan, so we do not rely on the cloud for recording. All footage is stored on the hard disk of the NVR (network video recorder) inside the villa, so recording continues even if the internet goes down. For live viewing from your phone we can add a 4G backup connection; when the main line drops, the router switches to mobile data automatically. We tune video streams for low bandwidth: a lighter stream for the phone, full resolution for recording.

We also set up notifications for owners watching from abroad. An alert every time a leaf moves gets tiresome within days. So we run motion detection only in chosen zones such as the gate, parking and pool entrance, using cameras that can tell people and vehicles apart. Turning alerts off while guests are in and back on when the villa is empty takes a few taps in the app.

Villa security cameras in Kalkan: from one villa to a boutique hotel

A single villa usually needs 6 to 12 cameras. Businesses managing several villas, small complexes or boutique hotels go up to 20 to 30 cameras. At that size one NVR, a PoE switch and properly installed Cat6 cabling do the job. Each villa gets its own user account, and each owner sees only their own cameras.

Larger resorts on the peninsula or multi-building hotels are a different picture. A 100 to 400 camera project spreads recording across several NVRs or a VMS (video management software). Disks are protected with RAID and capacity is sized to the retention period. Long distances between buildings call for fiber optic links, a network design that keeps camera traffic separate, and managed PoE switches. Permissions are layered too: security sees every camera, reception sees the entrances, technical staff see only technical areas. Our founder's years as IT manager at resort hotels are built on exactly this kind of setup.

Cabling on sloping land

Stone walls, terraces and landscaping added later make cable routes harder. Where possible we run cable through conduit, otherwise through outdoor-rated trunking. Every camera is powered over a single cable with PoE, so there is no need for separate adapters and sockets. See our structured cabling page for the standards we follow.

Choosing a brand

We supply and install Hikvision, Dahua, HiLook and Hanwha Wisenet products. For owners abroad, the language support and ease of use of the phone app often decide the choice. If your villa still has an old analogue system, we can compare upgrade options with you during the survey.

Privacy in rental villas

In rental villas, guests should be told about cameras in advance, and indoor living areas should not be monitored. Under KVKK, Turkey's personal data protection law, we recommend information signs where cameras are installed and limited access to recordings.

All our camera services are on our CCTV installation page. To arrange a survey, use our contact page or message us on WhatsApp at +90 552 637 07 07. If you are abroad, we can start with a video call for an initial assessment.

Frequently Asked Questions

I live abroad. Can I watch my Kalkan villa from my phone?
Yes. During installation we set up the phone app for you and agree together which cameras you will see. You can also play back recordings and receive motion alerts in the app.
Does recording stop if the villa's internet goes down?
No. Footage is stored on the NVR's disk inside the villa, so recording continues without internet. Internet is only needed for remote viewing, and where it is weak we recommend a 4G backup connection.
How many cameras does a villa need?
It depends on the size of the villa and the slope of the land, but 6 to 12 cameras is usually enough. The main points are the gate, parking, pool, garden and perimeter wall. We give an exact number after an on-site survey.
I rent out my villa. Is it a problem to have cameras?
Cameras can be used in outdoor areas, but guests must be told in advance and indoor living areas must not be monitored. Under KVKK, Turkey's data protection law, we recommend information signs and limited access to recordings. It is also worth getting advice from your legal adviser.
When can you come to Kaş?
We travel from our Antalya office to Kaş and Kalkan on planned site days. Survey and installation dates are agreed with you in advance. Most adjustments and support after installation are handled remotely.
