Network installation in Konyaalti is a large part of our work: ÖZER Bilişim designs and installs wired and wireless networks, fiber links and IP cameras for beachfront hotels, residential complexes, offices, and the warehouses and businesses around the Antalya Free Zone and the port. Konyaalti is not a single kind of district. In one day we can be connecting handheld scanners in a bonded warehouse in the morning and fixing car park cameras at a complex in Hurma in the afternoon. This page explains how we work in each of these three settings.

Network installation in Konyaalti: Free Zone and port warehouses

Most businesses around the Antalya Free Zone and Antalya Port work with warehouses, bonded stores and logistics space. An office-style network does not work in buildings like these. High ceilings, long aisles and fully loaded metal racks both block and reflect wireless signals. A survey done while the racks are empty can be useless once they are full. Businesses with cold storage also need equipment rated for low temperatures.

These are the problems we see most often in warehouse projects, and how we deal with them:

Problem on siteWhat we do
Handheld terminals and barcode scanners lose connection at the end of an aisleAccess points placed according to the rack layout, measured with the racks loaded
The link between the office and the warehouse building keeps droppingFiber optic link between buildings, with a separate cabinet in each one
Night footage at the loading bay is not clear enoughNight-vision cameras with lenses suited to loading bays and plate reading
Forklift traffic damages cablesProtected cable routes and distribution from the ceiling

Free Zone companies usually trade with partners abroad, so secure remote access matters too. We connect branch offices and head office through an encrypted tunnel on the firewall, and keep guest and driver WiFi completely separate from the company network. For a stable connection at the site itself, we provide Metro Ethernet business internet as FACE TELEKOM's authorised dealer in Antalya.

The beachfront: hotels and apart-hotels

Most hotels along Konyaalti Beach are city-style buildings: many floors, compact rooms, and a lot of guests streaming video or making video calls at the same time. A few access points in the corridor are not enough here; the layout has to be planned around room density. For balconies and terraces facing the sea we choose outdoor models that can handle salt air. We also install IPTV for in-room TV. Hotels with meeting rooms see many devices connect at once on event days, so we give those rooms their own wireless network and bandwidth limit to protect the guests upstairs. Our hotel IT services page covers this in more depth.

Residential complexes and residences

Many complexes with pools and residences have been built in Hurma, Sarısu, Liman and Uncalı in recent years, and a good share of the owners are foreign residents or people who live here part of the year. The jobs management companies ask for most are:

  • IP cameras for common areas, pools and car parks (see CCTV installation)
  • Card or number plate access control for vehicle and pedestrian gates
  • Tidying up the cabling between blocks with proper structured cabling
  • Watching every camera from the security cabin on a single screen

When we take over a newly delivered complex, we first check the cables and cabinets the contractor left behind. Putting new devices on top of missing or faulty infrastructure only postpones the problem. We also discuss a maintenance agreement with management, because a failing disk or a camera knocked out of position is caught early in a routine check.

Neighbourhoods we cover

Liman, Hurma, Sarısu, Uncalı, Altınkum, Arapsuyu, Gürsu, Pınarbaşı, Siteler, Kuşkavağı, Akkuyu, Toros, Uluç, Öğretmenevleri and the Antalya Free Zone. Konyaalti is a short drive from our office in Muratpasa, so we provide on-site service across the whole district.

How we work

In warehouse and hotel projects we do not give a device count before measuring. During the site survey we take signal readings and decide camera angles and cable routes on site, then send a written proposal. In a working warehouse or a full hotel, we split the job into stages around shifts and occupancy. At the end you receive a network diagram and an IP plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work with companies inside the Antalya Free Zone?
Yes. We install networks, fiber and cameras in Free Zone warehouses, bonded stores and offices. We coordinate with your company before each visit to handle the zone's entry procedures.
Our handheld terminals keep losing connection in the warehouse. Why?
The most common reason is that the access points were planned before the racks were full, and the metal racks now block the signal. We measure with the racks loaded and adjust the layout and roaming settings accordingly.
What do you recommend for linking an office and a warehouse building?
Because of the distance and electrical safety between buildings, we recommend a fiber optic link. Unlike copper cable, fiber is not affected by lightning or earthing differences and does not lose speed over long distances.
Can we reuse the old cables when we renew our complex's camera system?
It depends on their condition. Old analogue camera cables are usually not suitable for IP cameras. We test them during the survey, mark the runs that can be reused and recommend new cable for the rest.
Can you do the installation in our Konyaalti hotel during the season?
City hotels stay open all year, so we split the work floor by floor according to occupancy. Major changes go into quieter periods and smaller jobs can be done during the season.
