Side hotel WiFi, IPTV, IP cameras and low-voltage systems are the core of what ÖZER Bilişim installs, renews and supports remotely for hotels, holiday villages and businesses across Side and Manavgat. Few of the jobs we see in this area are new builds. More often, a property has grown block by block, floor by floor or wing by wing over the years, and the old and new infrastructure has to be made to work as one.
Side hotel WiFi and the old wing, new wing problem
Many hotels along the Side, Kumköy, Çolaklı and Evrenseki stretch spread out horizontally across flat coastal land. The main building went up in one period and the extra blocks in another. On site we typically find:
- Older generation copper cable and shallow cabinets in the old wing, with Cat6 and tidy cabinets in the new wing.
- Links between blocks made partly with fiber and partly with long copper runs.
- Access points from different brands, bought in different years and managed separately.
- TV still distributed to rooms over coaxial cable.
When a guest says "the WiFi doesn't work in this block", this kind of patchwork is usually the reason. We start by taking an inventory of the property's cabling and cabinets, and use it to decide which blocks need new cabling and which can carry on with what is already there.
Side hotel IPTV: moving from coax
The first question in a Side hotel IPTV project is what to do with the coaxial line running to each room. If rooms have a data cable, or one will be added during renovation, delivering TV directly over IP is the cleanest route. In wings where walls will not be opened, the existing coax can serve as a temporary bridge. We usually switch over block by block, so one wing moves to IPTV while another keeps broadcasting on the old system. The welcome screen, multilingual channel list and hotel information pages are prepared at the same stage. More on our hotel IPTV systems.
Recabling during renovation
A room renovation is the best moment to fix the cabling. While walls and ceilings are open, running enough data lines to each room for TV, access points and room controls makes every later project easier. We reorganise floor cabinets, move links between blocks onto a fiber backbone and label and test every line. Details: structured cabling and fiber optic infrastructure. If room automation is planned, we prepare the cabling for KNX as well.
Hotel networks and cameras
Manavgat hotel IT services: network and guest WiFi
Centrally managed access points, separate networks for guests, staff and hotel systems, automatic failover to a second internet line and logging in line with Law No. 5651, the Turkish regulation that requires public internet providers such as hotels to keep access logs. We measure first and then tell you honestly whether the equipment in the old wing is worth bringing into the new system. For how we approach hotels more broadly, see our hotels page.
Cameras and security
Moving old analog cameras onto IP, cameras for entrances, car parks, pools and beaches, and recorders that can be viewed remotely. Extending the fire alarm panel and access control to cover new wings is handled in the same project. See CCTV installation in Side and Manavgat.
Manavgat low voltage systems for local businesses
Beyond hotels, we work with shops, clinics, schools and offices in central Manavgat. The most common requests are till and stockroom cameras in shops, servers and backups for clinics holding patient data, and wireless networks and fire detection in schools. For smaller businesses we size server and backup setups to what is actually needed. Clients who want several systems installed by one team can have cameras, cabling, network and fire detection handled together.

Remote monitoring and planned site visits
Our office is in Antalya, and Manavgat is a district some distance from the city centre. That is why we design the systems we install to be managed remotely from day one. Access points, switches, recorders and internet lines are monitored, and a large share of problems are resolved remotely. Work that has to be done on site is grouped into planned visits, and for urgent faults we come to the property.
Major upgrades go into the off-season, and smaller improvements into quiet days during the season. When the work is done, the property receives the network diagram, IP plan and cabinet labels.
