Metro Ethernet in Turkey is a business-grade fiber internet and data line with bandwidth dedicated to your organisation and equal (symmetric) download and upload speeds. Unlike home connections, the line is not shared with other subscribers, comes with a static IP and is delivered under a service level agreement (SLA). ÖZER Bilişim supplies Metro Ethernet lines to businesses in Antalya and installs the firewall, switches and wireless network behind the line with the same team.

This service is only for companies, hotels, factories, healthcare providers, public institutions and other organisations. We do not sell home or personal internet subscriptions.

Business internet in Antalya as FACE TELEKOM Authorised Dealer

FACE TELEKOM is an internet service provider authorised by BTK, Turkey's telecoms regulator, and has been operating since 2020. Metro Ethernet in Turkey: what it is and how it works

A Metro Ethernet line is a dedicated circuit that runs from the provider's fiber backbone to your building and is allocated to you alone. Its main technical features are:

• Symmetric speed: on a 100/100 Mbps line, upload is also 100 Mbps. This matters for cloud backup, video conferencing, sending camera recordings to a central site and hosting servers.
• Dedicated bandwidth: because the line is not shared with neighbouring subscribers, speed does not drop in the evening or at busy times.
• Low latency: fiber and a short routing path keep VoIP phones, remote desktop and cloud applications responsive.
• Static IP: needed for VPNs, remote CCTV viewing, mail servers and outside access to hotel management software.
• SLA-backed service: fault handling and response terms are defined in the contract. The exact commitments depend on the chosen package and service agreement.

Who needs dedicated internet in Antalya?

Any organisation that depends on the internet should consider it. Common cases:

Backup line and automatic failover

In a business with a single line, a fiber cut stops everything. To reduce that risk we install a second line from a different infrastructure (fiber, VDSL or mobile) alongside the main Metro Ethernet line. With automatic failover configured on the firewall, traffic moves to the backup line shortly after the main line drops and returns on its own when the main line is back. Load balancing across both lines can also be set up.

What sets us apart: the line and the network from one team

In most businesses one company installs the internet line and another builds the network. When something goes wrong, each points at the other and the outage drags on. We deliver the line and also build and manage the whole network behind it:

• Firewall: backup line failover, VPN, content filtering and security policies.
• Switches and wireless: separate VLANs for staff, guests, cameras and IPTV, plus corporate WiFi. Bandwidth quotas and priority rules are set at this stage so the guest network does not slow down staff at peak times. See our corporate network page.
• 5651 logging: Law No. 5651, Turkey's internet law, requires hotels and any business offering internet to guests to keep access logs. We set up the logging infrastructure together with the line.
• In-building infrastructure: fiber optic and structured cabling from the line's entry point to the server room.
