CCTV Installation in Demre: Affordable Cameras for Greenhouses, Guesthouses and Shops

CCTV installation in Demre means IP security camera systems, scaled to need and budget, that we install for the district's greenhouses, small packing units, shops, guesthouses and small hotels. A word of warning about cameras inside greenhouses: the night vision LEDs hit the plastic sheet right in front of the lens, bounce back and leave nothing but a bright patch in the recording. We move the camera to a pole away from the cover, or place it outside looking in.

Most of our work in Demre is at this size, usually under 30 cameras. We build it with one NVR, a PoE switch and a small UPS. 100 to 400 cameras: greenhouse groups and shared facilities

For packing facilities shared by several growers, or large groups of greenhouses, the design changes. We divide cameras into zones, give each zone an NVR and manage them all through central VMS. Over longer distances between zones we use fibre, and wireless bridges where fibre does not make sense. Outdoor cameras are IP66 or IP67, and on remote poles without power a solar panel and battery take over. Storage and user permissions are planned per zone, so each grower sees only their own area. At this size the network matters as much as the cameras. Shared facilities that want to record staff entrances can plan an access control system together with the cameras.

Privacy and staff

Workers in greenhouses and packing, and guests at guesthouses, appear on camera. Under KVKK, Turkey's personal data protection law, we put up information signs, set a retention period and keep access to recordings limited. Rooms, bathrooms and rest areas stay out of view.

Travel and support

Demre is about 2 to 2.5 hours' drive from our office in Muratpaşa. We do the survey and installation on planned dates and try to finish in one trip. After installation, recording status, disk health and camera connections are monitored remotely.
