CCTV installation in Kepez covers the IP camera systems we survey, install and maintain for apartment complexes, schools, shops and small workshops across the district, watching and recording entrances, car parks and shared areas. Kepez is Antalya's most populous district. Dense housing, multi-block residential sites and businesses tucked into side streets make up most of the camera projects here, from Varsak and Göksu to Teomanpaşa and Altınova. Our other services in the district are on the Kepez region page.

CCTV installation in Kepez: the three projects we do most

Apartment blocks and residential sites

Requests from site management tend to cover the same points: the main entrance, the vehicle gate, the covered car park, block entrances, the children's playground and the bin area. In covered car parks, headlights often blind the camera; we solve this with wide dynamic range (WDR) models. Footage is watched on a screen in the management office. The manager and the security guard get access on their phones, while the right to download recordings stays limited. Residents who rent out a flat or live abroad part of the year can be given the shared-area cameras that the management board approves.

Schools

At schools the priorities are the front gate, the playground, the drop-off point for school buses, the corridors and the area around the canteen. To pick out individuals in a crowded playground at break time, the answer is tighter angles, not fewer cameras. Viewing usually happens on a screen in the deputy head's office. We schedule installation for the summer holiday or weekends so cabling does not disturb lessons, and we put the recorder in a locked cabinet that students cannot reach.

Shops, workshops and small industry

For a neighbourhood shop, the till, the shop window and the stockroom door are usually enough, and 4 to 8 cameras cover most businesses. In small industrial estates we watch the workbench area, open stock and the street front. Dust and vibration are part of daily life there, so we use metal-bodied cameras and solid mounting brackets. Shop owners want to check in after closing time, so we install the app on their phone on the day and show them how to use it.

Upgrading an old system

Many sites in Kepez still run analogue systems installed years ago that work, but cannot show a face or a number plate clearly. There are two routes. If the coaxial cables are in good condition, a partial upgrade with HD analogue cameras is possible. If the cables are worn or you expect higher resolution, we move you to an IP system. We explain the trade-offs during the survey, including whether the existing recorder can be kept for a while.

How the design changes with size

A single apartment block and a 15-block site are not built the same way. We work with both sizes in Kepez:

  • 20 to 30 cameras (single-building site, school, large shop): one NVR, one or two PoE switches and a small wall cabinet in the technical room are enough. Disk capacity is calculated from the number of days you want to keep, and the recorder sits in the same cabinet.
  • 100 to 400 cameras (large multi-block site or campus): each block gets its own PoE switch and distribution cabinet. Blocks connect to the main cabinet in the management building over fibre, because the distances pass the 100-metre limit of copper cable. Recording is split across several NVRs or brought together in central VMS software. The gatehouse and the management office get separate viewing points, and we define one by one which cameras each user can see.

On large sites the storage plan deserves extra attention. When resolution per camera, H.265 compression and motion-based recording are set together, the same disks hold footage for much longer. Cabling inside the blocks is labelled and tested, so when a fault comes up nobody has to guess which cable goes to which camera.

Brands

We supply and install Hikvision, Dahua, HiLook and Hanwha Wisenet. On a tight site budget we often start with an economical series such as HiLook and use higher-end models only at critical points like the entrance and the car park.

Privacy on residential sites

Under KVKK, Turkey's personal data protection law, camera footage is personal data. Signs should go up at site entrances and shared areas, the management board should decide how long footage is kept, and only authorised people should watch it. That is why giving every resident a live view of every camera is not the right approach. During installation we mask any angle that looks into flat doors or neighbours' windows.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to install a 30-camera system on our site?
If the cable routes are suitable, a 30-camera site system is usually running within three to four working days. The number of blocks and whether we need to cut channels in the car park affect the timeline. We give you a firm schedule after the survey.
Can the site manager watch the cameras on a phone?
Yes. We open separate user accounts in the mobile app for the manager and the security guard. Which cameras each person sees, and whether they can download recordings, is set per account.
Can we improve picture quality without replacing our old analogue cameras?
If the coaxial cables are in good shape, HD analogue cameras with a compatible recorder give a clear improvement. If the cables are worn, or you need to read number plates, moving to an IP system is the better choice.
Why can't our car park cameras read number plates?
Usually headlights blind the camera, or the camera is too far from the plate with too wide an angle. A WDR camera, the right mounting height and a narrower lens solve the problem.
How far back do recordings go in a shop?
It depends on disk capacity and camera settings. For a shop with 4 to 8 cameras, 30 days of recording is easy to plan. We choose the disk to match the number of days you want.
