Villa Smart Home Systems in Antalya: KNX, CCTV and Home Network

For a villa smart home in Antalya, ÖZER Bilişim brings lighting, curtains, climate control and scenes together on one KNX system, planned alongside CCTV, a video intercom and the home network. We work on villas in Döşemealtı, Konyaaltı and Kemer and on holiday villas in Kaş and Kalkan, from the construction stage through to handover. If the owner spends part of the year in another city or abroad, being able to watch and control the house from a phone matters even more.

Villa smart home in Antalya: what KNX controls

KNX is an international building automation standard in which devices from different manufacturers communicate over the same bus line. You are not tied to a single brand; if a switch or sensor needs replacing years later, you can use another manufacturer's product. The main things we control with KNX in a villa:

  • Lighting: switching and dimming room by room, with garden and pool lighting timed to sunset.
  • Curtains and shutters: closing automatically by sun direction and time of day, or every curtain in the house with one button.
  • Climate: room-by-room temperature, underfloor heating and air conditioning, with the AC stopping when a window opens.
  • Scenes: one-touch settings such as a "leaving home" button that turns off all lights and lowers the shutters, or a "movie" button that dims the living room.
  • Phone control: switching on the climate before you arrive and checking the state of lights and curtains.

More detail is on our KNX building automation page.

Villa CCTV and video intercom

A villa camera plan starts at the perimeter. The garden wall and gate, the driveway, the pool area, dark corners of the garden and the front door are each considered separately. We install night vision or low-light colour IP cameras, a recorder and live viewing on your phone, working with Hikvision, Dahua, HiLook and Hanwha Wisenet. General information is on our CCTV installation page.

A video intercom lets you see and talk to whoever is at the gate from an indoor screen or your phone, and open the gate remotely. We plan the intercom to run on the same network as the cameras.

WiFi across every floor and the garden

In a concrete villa, a single router will not reach the upper floor and the garden. We install ceiling-mounted access points on each floor and outdoor access points for the garden and pool, all running as one network name with roaming. Cameras, smart home devices and guest devices get separate network segments. Details: network solutions.

Planning before plastering: smart villa wiring in Turkey

The most expensive mistake in smart home and camera work is thinking about cables after plaster and screed are down. Wiring added later means either breaking walls or settling for wireless workarounds. That is why we prefer to work with the architect and electrical team during construction.

Construction stageOur work
DesignMarking KNX, camera, WiFi and TV points on the architectural plans
Shell, before plasteringConduit and duct routes, KNX bus line, Cat6 and fiber cabling
FinishingCabinet installation, switch and panel positions, cable termination and testing
HandoverDevice installation, scene programming, phone app setup and user training

A data point in every room, a spare conduit behind each TV, PoE cable to camera points and empty conduit out to the garden wall keep the door open for any system added years later. If there is fiber in the street, we include a fiber line to the villa in the project. Related pages: structured cabling and fiber optic infrastructure.

Common planning mistakes

We often see the same problems in villas we take over or are called to later:

  • Cables that do not meet in one place: if camera, TV and data cables end in different spots, a tidy cabinet is hard to build. All lines should come together in a technical room or a cabinet under the stairs.
  • No conduit left to the garden: once landscaping is finished, a garden camera or outdoor access point means digging.
  • No ventilation or backup power in the cabinet: recorders and switches overheat in a closed cupboard. Ventilation and a UPS should be planned from the start.
  • Scenes written without asking the residents: scenes programmed without talking about daily habits soon go unused.

What can be done in a finished villa?

Plenty. Cameras and WiFi can use existing conduits and ducts, or new runs in neat exterior trunking if needed. Adding KNX later is more limited; we confirm during the survey how much is possible given the electrical panel and existing wiring.

Getting a quote

If your villa is under construction we start from the architectural plans; if it is finished, we start with an on-site survey. For projects in Döşemealtı, Konyaaltı, Kemer, Kaş and Kalkan, contact us or call +90 552 637 07 07.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time to install a KNX smart home system?
The best time is during construction, before plastering. If the KNX bus line, data and camera cables go in at that stage, every point is ready without breaking walls.
Can a smart home system be installed in a finished villa?
Cameras, WiFi and a video intercom can usually be installed using existing conduits and ducts. How much KNX can be added depends on the electrical panel and existing wiring, which we confirm during the survey.
Can I monitor my villa from my phone while abroad?
Yes. We connect the cameras and KNX system to your phone through secure remote access, so you can watch live video and control climate and lighting. This needs an always-on internet connection at the villa.
Do garden and pool cameras give clear images at night?
With outdoor cameras that have night vision or low-light colour imaging, you get usable footage at night. We plan camera angles together with the garden lighting.
Do you also work on villas in Kaş and Kalkan?
Yes. Alongside Döşemealtı, Konyaaltı and Kemer, we travel to villa projects in Kaş and Kalkan for surveys and installation. For distant projects we schedule planned visits around the construction timeline.
